Effigies of BJP government burnt at 47 places in Punjab as a protest against the communal violence in Delhi

The people expressed their anger and strong resentment over the killing of the Muslims and burning of their properties worth crores of rupees in Delhi by organising demonstrations and burning the effigies of BJP  and RSS government at 47places in 15 districts of Punjab and 4 places in the Sirsa district of Haryana on a call given by 14 mass and democratic organizations. In a press statement  Joginder Singh Ugrahan, Rajwinder Singh and Buta Singh Burj Gill said that besides Bathinda effigies of BJP government were burnt at 47 villages, towns and district headquarters of Barnala, Mansa, Sangrur, Faridkot, Muktsar, Moga, Ludhiana, Tarn Taran, Jalandhar, Patiala, Fazilka, Ferozepur, Amritsar and Gurdaspur. In the demonstrations held at these places the speakers squarely blamed BJP and RSS for instigating communal violence against the Muslim community under a well thought-out conspiracy to supress the peaceful and ever-expanding protests against the unjust CAA, NPR and NRC. The speakers categorically accused the central government and the entire administration and police machinery for this violence against the Muslim community as it has refused to arrest BJP leaders like Kapil Mishra who delivered provocative and communal speeches which resulted in the murder of over a dozen persons including few hindus injuries to hundreds and burning of properties worth crores of rupees. The speakers further accused the Delhi Police of colluding with the mobs in spreading this violence, as they are seen on various social media forums beating the Muslim youth with lathis and teasing them for their slogans for freedom from CAA and NRC. In these demonstrations the speakers were of the firm view that the BJP government conspired to resort to violence as it sensed that it's ploy to present Shaheen Bagh protest as anti-national and resulting in problems for the people would not succeed in having it lifted on the orders of Supreme Court. The leaders further said that clear signs were visible of the interlocutors appointed by Supreme Court exposing the lies about the Shaheen Bagh protests, and consequently the BJP and RSS have chosen the path of communal violence by throwing to the winds all rules and regulations. They blamed the Modi Sarkar of again creating the conditions of 1947 and communally dividing people by linking the fundamental right of citizenship to religion. 

They demanded that Kapil Mishra and other BJP leaders responsible for instigating violence be arrested immediately, police officials who collaborated with these culprits be proceeded against under the provisions of the relevant laws, the lives and properties of the Muslim community be protected and people's right to protest against the unjust and repressive policies of the government be guaranteed. They also reiterated their resolve to continue their struggle against the communal fascist BJP government, and announced a state wide rally on March 8 at Malerkotla on the occasion of International Women's Day. Those who addressed today's demonstrations included Sukhdev Singh Kokri, Lakhwinder Singh, Jagmohan Singh,Harinder Kaur Bindu , Zora Singh Nasrali, Ashwini Ghuda, Kavilpreet Pannu, Surinder Singh, Rachhpal Singh, Chhinderpal Singh, Hoshiar Singh, Lachhman Singh Sewewala, Shingara Singh Mann, Manjeet Singh Dhaner, Harjinder Singh and Harsa Singh.

‘Protest Week against CAA, NPR and NRC’ from 24th to 29th February by 14 mass organisations of Punjab

 In a meeting of 14 mass organisations, leaders thanked the more than one lakh people who participated in 16 February Malerkotla Rally organized by them. 

They also expressed gratitude to the local people of Malerkotla who made such huge langar arrangements for such a large gathering. 

These organizations are going to further the struggle against these black laws by organising the ‘Protest Week against CAA, NPR and NRC’ across Punjab from 24th to 29th February.

Districts/tehsils and dates of these Protests will be as follows – 

24 February – District Barnala

 25 February – Mukatsar 

26 February – Bathinda 

27 February – Moga, Tarn taran, Gurdaspur 

28 February – Sangrur, Amritsar, Firozpur, Shahkot, Fazilka 

29 February – Faridkot 

Dates for Ludhiana and Mansa will be announced soon.

 Leaders of mass organizations said the struggle will continue till the roll back of these fascist steps of Modi govt. They also warned the Captain govt of Punjab that if it implements the NPR in state then it should get itself ready to face mass opposition by people.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ, ਖੇਤ ਮਜ਼ਦੁਰਾਂ, ਸੱਨਅਤੀ ਤੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਕਾਮਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ 14 ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ਸ਼ੀਲ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੱਦੇ 'ਤੇ ਅੱਜ ਸੀ.ਏ.ਏ., ਐਨ.ਆਰ.ਸੀ.-ਐਨ.ਪੀ.ਆਰ. ਖਿਲਾਫ ਮਲੇਰਕੋਟਲਾ ਦੀ ਦਾਣਾ ਮੰਡੀ 'ਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੂਬਾ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਰੈਲੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਜਾਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਿਰਤੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਨ-ਸੈਲਾਬ ਉਮੜ ਆਇਆ। ‘ਭਾਈ ਭਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਨੀ ਦੇਣਾ, ਸੰਨ ਸੰਤਾਲੀ ਬਣਨ ਨੀ ਦੇਣਾ’, ‘ਫਾਸੀਵਾਦ ਮੁਰਦਾਬਾਦ’ ਆਦਿ ਅਸਮਾਨ ਗੂੰਜਵੇਂ ਨਾਅਰੇ ਬੁਲੰਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਇਕੱਠ ਨੇ ਮੋਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਫਾਸ਼ੀਵਾਦੀ ਕਾਲੇ ਕਨੂੰਨ ਵਾਪਿਸ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਹੀਨ ਬਾਗ, ਜਾਮੀਆਂ ਮਿਲੀਆ ਇਸਲਾਮੀਆ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਂ-ਏ ਮੁਹੱਬਤ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਡੈਲੀਗੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਸਮੂਹ ਇਕੱਠ ਵਲੋਂ ਇੱਕਜੁੱਟ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਆਰ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਤੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੀ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਵਲੋਂ ਦੇਸ਼ 'ਚ ਫਿਰਕੂ ਵੰਡੀਆਂ ਪਾਉਣ ਤੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਵਾਦ ਭੜਕਾਉਣ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਲੜਾਉਣ, ਜਮਹੂਰੀ ਹੱਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਾਣ ਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੁੱਟ ਤਿੱਖੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਖੋਟੇ ਮਨਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸਫਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੋਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਦੇਸ਼ 'ਚ ਫੈਲਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਫਿਰਕੂ ਜਹਿਰ ਪਸਾਰੇ ਦੇ ਟਾਕਰੇ ਲਈ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਣ ਦਾ ਅਹਿਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ 24 ਤੋਂ 29 ਫਰਵਰੀ ਤੱਕ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਰ 'ਚ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਹਫਤਾ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਬੁਲਾਰਿਆ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਖਤ ਚਿਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਸ ਵਲੋਂ ਆਨੇ-ਬਹਾਨੇ ਐਨ.ਪੀ.ਆਰ. ਨੂੰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਿੱਖੇ ਰੋਹ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਰਹੇ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਮੇਂ-ਸਮੇਂ ਫਿਰਕੂ ਸਾਜਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਫਿਰਕੂ ਫਾਸ਼ੀ ਹੱਲੇ ਦੇ ਪੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਧੇ-ਅਸਿੱਧੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੁਗਤ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਾਕਮ ਜਮਾਤੀ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਲੋਕ ਰੋਹ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਤਾੜਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ।

 ਬੁਲਾਰਿਆ ਨੇ ਇੱਕਸੁਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਾਲੇ ਕਨੂੰਨ ਸੀ.ਏ.ਏ., ਐਨ.ਆਰ.ਸੀ. ਤੇ ਐਨ.ਪੀ.ਆਰ. ਦੀ ਫਿਰਕੂ ਫਾਸ਼ੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ੂਲ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮੋਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇਸ਼ 'ਚ ਫਿਰਕੂ ਵੰਡੀਆਂ ਪਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਕੁਕਰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਫਾਸ਼ੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ੂਲ ਦਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਸਭ ਘੱਟ ਗਿਣਤੀਆਂ, ਸਭ ਕਿਰਤੀ ਲੋਕ, ਦਲਿਤ, ਪਛੜੀਆਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀਆਂ, ਦਬਾਈਆਂ ਕੌਮੀਅਤਾਂ, ਲੋਕ ਪੱਖੀ ਬੁੱਧੀਜੀਵੀ, ਧਰਮ ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਤੇ ਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਸੋਚ ਦੇ ਧਾਰਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਜੂਝਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ਸ਼ੀਲ ਲੋਕ ਹਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਆਰ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਤੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਦੇ ਗੁੰਡੇ ਟੋਲੇ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੇ ਅਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨਰਥ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋਕ ਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਲੋਚਨਾ ਕਰਨ, ਅਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਹਰੇ ਲਾਉਣ ਤੇ ਜੈ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਨਾ ਬੋਲਣ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਧ੍ਰੋਹੀ ਗਰਦਾਨ ਕੇ ਜੇਲ੍ਹਾਂ 'ਚ ਸੁੱਟਣ ਤੇ ਕੱਟੜ ਹਿੰਦੂਤਵੀ ਭੀੜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਕਤਲੇਆਮ ਕਰਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਂਅ ਹੇਠ ਜਲ, ਜੰਗਲ, ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਮੀਰ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਸ੍ਰੋਤ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਟ ਘਰਾਣਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਲੁਟਾਉਣ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਧ੍ਰੋਹ ਕਮਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਖਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤ ਤਾਂ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਸਭ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਹ ਕਿਰਤੀ ਲੋਕ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪੈਦਾਵਾਰ 'ਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਪਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਧਰਮ ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਵਜੂਦ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਣ, ਨਿੱਜੀਕਰਨ-ਉਦਾਰੀਕਰਨ-ਸੰਸਾਰੀਕਰਨ, ਗਰੀਬੀ, ਮਹਿੰਗਾਈ, ਬੇਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰੀ, ਕਰਜ਼ਾਮਾਰੀ, ਖੁਦਕਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਅਤੇ ਅਡਾਨੀਆਂ-ਅੰਬਾਨੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਟ ਘਰਾਣਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਲੁਟਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਸ੍ਰੋਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਲਈ ਜੂਝ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਜੋਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੁਲਕ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਰਾ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਚਣ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਪਈ ਮੋਦੀ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਤੇ ਇਸਦੀਆਂ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੈ।

 ਉਹਨਾਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੋਦੀ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਬਨਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਧਰਮੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਪਿਛਾਖੜੀ ਰਾਜ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਢਲੇ ਜਮਹੂਰੀ ਤੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹੱਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰਾਂ ਘਾਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੁੱਟ-ਖਸੁੱਟ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਣ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਹਾਕਮਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਦੇਸ਼ 'ਚ ਫਿਰਕੂ ਦੰਗੇ ਭੜਕਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸੰਤਾਪ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਗਰੀਬ ਕਿਰਤੀ ਕਮਾਊ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਗਤਣਾ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਸਮੇਂ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਵਲੋਂ ਕੱਟੜ ਹਿੰਦੂਤਵੀ ਜਨੂਨ ਭੜਕਾ ਕੇ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨਾਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਦੰਗੇ ਭੜਕਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸਾਜਿਸ਼ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ-ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ, ਬੁੱਧੀਜੀਵੀ, ਕਿਸਾਨ ਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਜਾਤਾਂ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਉੱਠਕੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ 'ਚ ਡਟੇ ਹਨ ਉਸਨੇ ਇੱਕਵਾਰ ਹਕੂਮਤੀ ਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਾਰੀ ਟੱਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਜੋਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੇ ਫਿਰਕੂ ਫਾਸੀ ਕਦਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਕਦੇ ਸਫਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ 'ਚ ਡਟਕੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ 'ਚ ਨਿੱਤਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਸੀ.ਏ.ਏ. ਰੱਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ, ਐਨ.ਆਰ.ਸੀ. ਤੇ ਐਨ.ਪੀ.ਆਰ ਦੇ ਕਦਮ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਏ ਜਾਣ, ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਪਾਏ ਕੇਸ ਰੱਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਲੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਬੁੱਧੀਜੀਵੀ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ, ਜੇ.ਐਨ.ਯੂ. ਤੇ ਜਾਮੀਆ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਲਕ ਭਰ 'ਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਜਬਰ ਢਾਹੁਣ ਵਾਲ਼ੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਸਖਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ, ਜੇ.ਐਨ.ਯੂ. 'ਚ ਨਕਾਬ ਪਾਕੇ ਆਏ ਗੁੰਡਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨਾਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ‘ਗੋਲੀ ਮਾਰੋ’ ਜਿਹੇ ਬਿਆਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ਼ ਫਿਰਕੂ ਜਨੂੰਨ ਭੜਕਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਯੋਗੀ ਅਦਿੱਤਯਨਾਥ, ਅਨੁਰਾਸ਼ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਜਿਹੇ ਚੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਆਗੂਆਂ, ਸ਼ਾਹੀਨ ਬਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਮੀਆ ਵਿਖੇ ਗੋਲੀ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੰਘੀ ਗੁੰਡਿਆਂ, ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੁਪਤ ਅੰਗਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਠੁੱਡੇ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਰਗੀ ਕਾਲਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਣਸੀ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਖਤ ਸਜਾਵਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ, ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ 'ਚੋਂ ਨਜ਼ਰਬੰਦੀ ਕੈਂਪ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਡੱਕੇ ਲੋਕ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ, ਦਿੱਲੀ 'ਚ ਮੜ੍ਹੇ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਏ. ਸਮੇਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਾਲ਼ੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਰੱਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ। ਰੈਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਵੈ-ਨਿਰਣੇ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਚਲਣ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਤਾਨਾਸ਼ਾਹ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਆਂ, ਧਾਰਾ 370 ਤੇ 35ਏ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ, ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਜਾਇਜ਼ ਜੇਲ੍ਹੀਂ ਡੱਕਣ, ਜ਼ਬਰ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਮਤਾ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਸੰਗਰੂਰ ਦੇ ਲੌਂਗੋਵਾਲ ਕਸਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਕੂਲ ਵੈਨ ਦੇ ਦਰਦਨਾਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਚਾਰ ਮਾਸੂਮ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਠਹਿਰਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ੋਕ ਮਤਾ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ।

मलेरकोटला, पंजाब में नागरिकता शोध कानून और रजिस्टर के खिलाफ उमड़ा जन-सैलाब, 1 लाख से ऊपर लोगों ने रैली में की शिरकत!

सी.ए.ए, एन.पी.आर व एन.आर.सी. के ख़िलाफ़ 

24 फ़रवरी से विरोध सप्ताह के ज़रिए संघर्ष जारी रखने का ऐलान

पंजाब के किसानों, खेत मज़दूरों, औद्योगिक व बिजली मज़दूरों तथा नौजवानों विद्यार्थियों के 14 संघर्षरत संगठनों के आह्वान पर आज सी.ए.ए, एन.आर.सी व एन.पी.आर के ख़िलाफ़ मलेरकोटला की दाना मंडी में की गई राज्य-स्तरीय विशाल रैली के दौरान हज़ारों औरतों समेत विभिन्न धर्मों व जातियों के मेहनतकश लोगों का जन-सैलाब उमड़ आया। ‘भाई भाई  भाई ’ ‘भाई-भाई को लड़ने नहीं देना, सन् सैतालीस बनने नहीं देना’, ‘फ़ासीवाद मुर्दाबाद’ आदि के आसमान में गूँजते नारों को बुलंद करते हुए लोगों के विशाल इकट्ठ ने मोदी सरकार से फ़ासीवादी काले क़ानूनों को वापिस लेने की माँग की। इस अवसर पर दिल्ली के शाहीन बाग, जामीया मिलिया इस्लामीया यूनिवर्सिटी व कारवां-ए-मोहब्बत के विभिन्न प्रतिनिधि-मंडलों द्वारा भागीदारी की गई। सामूहिक इकट्ठ द्वारा एकजुट होकर ऐलान किया गया कि आर.एस.एस व भाजपा के केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा देश में सांप्रदायिक फूट डालने व अँध-राष्ट्रवाद भड़काकर लोगों को धर्म के नाम पर लड़ाने, जनवादी अधिकारों के हनन व लोगों की लूट को ओर तेज़ करने के जनद्रोही मंसूबों को वो सफ़ल नहीं होने देंगे। इस अवसर पर मोदी सरकार की ओर से देश में फैलाए जा रहे सांप्रदायिक ज़हर को मात देने के लिए अभियान जारी रखने का संकल्प लेते हुए 24 से 29 फरवरी तक पंजाब भर में विरोध सप्ताह मनाने का ऐलान किया गया। वक्ताओं ने पंजाब की कांग्रेस सरकार को भी सख़्त चेतावनी देते हुए कहा कि यदि पंजाब सरकार द्वारा किसी से एन.पी.आर को लागू करने की कोशिश की गई तो वह पंजाब के लोगों के तीखे रोष का सामना करने के लिए तैयार रहे। उन्होने समय-समय पर सांप्रदायिक साज़िशों में शामिल रही तथा मौजूदा सांप्रदायिक फासीवादी हमले के पक्ष में प्रत्यक्ष-अप्रत्यक्ष रूप में साथ दे रही शासक वर्गीय पार्टियों को भी जन-आक्रोश का सामना करने के लिए तैयार रहने की चेतावनी दी।

 आज के जुटान को भाकयू (एकता उगराहाँ) के प्रधान जोगिंदर सिंह उगराहाँ, बीकेयू (एकता डकौंदा) के प्रधान बूटा सिंह बुर्ज गिल, टेक्सटाइल हौज़री कामगार यूनियन के प्रधान राजविंदर सिंह, किसान संघर्ष कमेटी पंजाब के कनवीनर कंवलजीत सिंह पन्नू, पंजाब खेत मज़दूर यूनियन के लछमन सिंह सेवेवाला, पी.एस.यू. (शहीद रंधावा) के होशियार सिंह, पीएसयू (ललकार) के नेता गुरप्रीत, इंकलाबी मज़दूर केन्द्र के सुरेन्द्र सिंह, मोल्डर एण्ड स्टील वर्कर यूनियन के हरजिंदर सिंह, किसान नेता हरविंदर बिन्दू, नौजवान भारत सभा (ललकार) की नेता नमिता, नौजवान भारत सभा के अश्विनी घुद्दा, इंकलाबी नौजवान विद्यार्थी मंच, टी.एस.यू के प्रमोद, से हरशा सिंह ने संबोधित किया।

 उपरोक्त नेताओं के अलावा प्रसिद्ध बुद्दिजीवी हर्श मंदर, जामिया यूनिवर्सिटी से विद्यार्थी नेता सैफ उल इसलाम, शाहीन बाग से बड़े जत्थे का साथ पहुँचे तैमूर, प्रो. जगमोहन सिंह, डॉ. परमिंदर देशभगत यादगर कमेटी जालंधर, रजिंदर भदौड़ तर्कशील सोसाइटी पंजाब, अमोलक सिंह पलस मंच, अबदुल शकूर व शगुफता यावेर जमात-ए-इसलामी पंजाब, कुलवंत सिंह संधू जमहूरी किसान सभा, गुरनाम दाऊद देहाती मज़दूर सभा ने भी संबोधित किया। इनके अलावा अन्य विभिन्न संगठनों ने भी समर्थन किया। मलेरकोटला के सभी स्थानीय संगठनों ने भी सहयोग करते हुए इस जुटान के लिए लंगर का प्रबंध किया। 

 वक्ताओं ने कहा कि सी.ए.ए, ए,एन.आर.सी व एन.पी.आर की साम्प्रदायिक फासीवादी त्रिशूल के ज़रिए मोदी सरकार देश में सांप्रदायिक फूट डालने का कुकर्म कर रही है। इसका निशाना मुसलमानों मसेत अल्प-संख्यक, सभी मेहनतकश लोग, दलित, पिछड़ी श्रेणीयाँ, पीड़ित राष्ट्रीयताओं, जनपक्षधर बुद्धीजीवियों, धर्म निरपक्ष व वैग्यानिक सोच के धारणी व अधिकारों के लिए जूझते समूह संघर्षरत लोग हैं। उन्होंने दोष लगाया कि आर.एस.एस व भाजपा सरकार ने देशभक्ति के अर्थों के अनर्थ कर दिए हैं। प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की जन व देश विरोधी नीतियों की आलोचना करने, आज़ादी के नारे लगाने व जय श्री राम ना बोलने को देश-द्रोही ऐलान कर जेलों में फेंकने व कट्टर हिन्दूत्वी भीड़ों से कत्लेआम कराया जा रहा है। उन्होने दोष लगाया है कि भाजपा सरकार देशभक्ति के नाम पर जल, जंगल, ज़मीन व अन्य प्राकृतिक साधन कॉरपोरेट घरानों को लूटाने के ज़रिए लोगों से द्रोह कर रही है। उन्होने कहा कि सच्चे देश भक्त तो मुसलमानों समेत धर्मों के वे मेहनतकश लोग हैं जो देश के उत्पादन में हिस्सा पा रहे हैं, देश के धर्म निरपक्ष अस्तित्व को कायम रखने, निजीकरण, उदारीकरण, विश्वीकरण, गरीबी, बेरोजगारी, कर्जमारी, खुदकुशियों के लिए जिम्मेवार नीतियों के खिलाफ, अडानियों-अंबानियों व कॉरपोरेट घरानों को लूटाए जा रहे यहाँ के साधनों की रक्षा के लिए संघर्ष कर रहे हैं। उन्होने ज़ोर देकर कहा कि देश की जनता को ख़तरा मुस्लमानों से नहीं बल्कि देश को बेचने की राह पर निकली मोदी सरकार व इसकी नीतियों से है।

 उन्होने कहा कि मोदी सरकार देश को हिन्दू राष्ट्र बनाने चाहती है पर इसका मतलब हिन्दू धार्मिक लोगों का विकास नहीं, बल्कि ऐसा पिछाखड़ी शासन स्थापित करना है यहाँ लोगों के बुनियादी जनवादी व क़ानूनी अधिकारों का पूरी तरह से हनन किया जा सके। उन्होने कहा कि देश के शासकों द्वारा जब देश में सांप्रदायिक दंगे भड़काए गए हैं तो उसका सबसे ज़्यादा संताप औरतों व गरीब मेहनतकश लोगों को भुगतना पड़ा है। उन्होंने कहा कि मौजूदा वक़्त में भाजपा सरकार द्वारा कट्टर हिन्दूत्वी जनून भड़का कर मुस्लमानों के ख़िलाफ़ दंगे भड़काने की साज़िश के ख़िलाफ़ जिस तरह से औरतें-नौजवान विद्यार्थी, बुद्धीजीवी, किसान व मज़दूर जाती-धर्मों से ऊपर उठकर मैदान में डटे हैं उन्होने एक बार सरकारी हमले को करारी ट्क्कर दी है। उन्होने ज़ोर देकर कहा कि मोदी के सांप्रदायिक फ़ासीवादी क़दमों को देश  की जनता कभी सफ़ल नहीं होने देगी व पंजाब के लोग इस संघर्ष में डटकर मैदान में उतर चुके हैं। इस अवसर पर माँग की गई कि सी.ए.ए रद्द किया जाए, एन.पी.आर व एन.आर.सी के क़दम वापिस लिए जाएँ, इनका विरोध कर रहे लोगों पर दर्ज़ किए गए केस रद्द किए जाएँ व गिरफ़्तार लोग तथा बुद्धीजीवी रिहा किए जाएँ, जे.एन.यू व जामीया यूनिवर्सिटी व देश भर में लोगों पर दमन करने वाले अधिकारियों के ख़िलाफ़ सख़्त कार्रवाई की जाए, जे.एन.यू. में नकाब पहनकर आए गुण्डों और मुस्लमानों के खिलाफ ‘गोली मारो’ जैसे ब्यानों के स्थानों के साथ साम्प्रदायिक जनून भड़काने के दोषी योगी अदित्यनाथ, अनुराग ठाकुर जैसे बड़े नेताओं, शाहीन बाग व जामिया में गोली चलाने वाले संघी गुण्डों, स्त्रियों के गुप्त अंगों पर लात मारने वालों और गार्गी कालज में स्त्रियों पर जिनसी हमला करने वालों को सख्त सजाएँ दी जाएँ, देश भर में नज़रबंदी कैंप ख़त्म करके उनमें नज़रबंद किए गए लोग रिहा किए जाएँ, दिल्ली में थोपे गए एन.एस.ए समेत सारे काले क़ानून रद्द किए जाएँ ।रैली में कशमीरी लोगों के आत्म-निर्णय के अधिकार को कुचलने, उनके उपर थोपी तानाशाह पांबदियाँ, धारा 370 ए व 35 ए खत्म करने, हज़ारों कशमीरियों को नाजायज जेल में बंद करने, दमन करने के ख़िलाफ़ प्रस्ताव पास किया गया। इसके अलावा कल संगरूर के लौंगोवाल कस्बे में स्कूल वैन के दर्दनाक हाबदसे के दौरान चार मासूम बच्चों की हुई मौतें का यहाँ की व्यवस्था को को जिम्मेदार ठहराते हुए शोक प्रस्ताव पारित किया गया।

Pledge to continue the struggle and observe the last week of February, starting from 24th ,as Protest Week

Malerkolta/Chandigarh/16 February- On the call of 14 active organizations of Farmers, Field laborers, Industrial and Electricity workers , youth and students of Punjab, a state wide huge protest rally was been organized in the grain market of Malerkotla in which workers from different religions and castes including thousands of women participated enthusiastically. A massive gathering of people raising the slogans like ‘Never again any 1947, no more attacks on our brotherhood’, ‘Death to Fascism’etc  demanded vociferously that the Modi government should repeal these black fascist laws. Different delegations from Shaheen Bagh, Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi and ‘Karvan-e- Muhabbat’( Caravan of Love) also participated in the rally. The gathering unanimously pledged that they will not allow the malevolent RSS-BJP government in the centre to divide the country on religious lines and flare up ultra nationalism and hence crush the democratic rights, incite religious riots and loot people.

    Pledging to continue its campaign to counter the spread of communal poisoning in the country by the Modi government it was announced on this occasion that a protest week will be observed in Punjab from 24 to 29 February. The speakers also warned the Congress government of Punjab that if it insidiously tries to implement the NPR , it should brace itself up to face the bitter anger of the people of Punjab.

    The gathering was addressed by Joginder Singh, president of BKU Ekta Ugrahan , Boota Singh Burj Gill , president of BKU ( Ekta Dakaunda) , Rajwinder Singh, president of Textile Hosiery kamgar Union, Kanwaljeet Singh Pannu , convener of Kisan Sangharsh Committee Punjab, Lachhman Singh Sevewala from Punjab Khet Mazdoor Union, Hushiar Singh from PSU ( Shaheed Randhawa), Gurpreet Singh, State level leader from PSU ( Lalkar) , Surinder Singh from Inquilabi Mazdoor Kendar, Harjinder from Moulder and Steel Worker Union, Lakhwinder Singh from Karkhana Mazdoor Union, Women and Farmer leader Harinder Bindoo, Women peasant leader Amarjit Kaur of Kisan Union(Dakaunda), Naujwan Bharat Sabha ( Lalkar) leader Namita, Naujwan Bharat Sabha leader Ashwani Ghudda, Harsha Singh from Inquilabi Naujwan Vidyarthi Munch. 

    Apart from above mentioned leaders, the leading intellectual Harsh Mander from Jamia Milia Islamia and student leader Saif- ul – Islam, Tamur from Shaheen Bagh, Professor Jagmohan Singh, Pramod from TSU, Parminder from Desh Bhagat Yadgaari Committee Jalandhar,  Rajinder Bhadaud from Taraksheel Society, Amolak Singh from Pulse Manch, Abdul Shakoor and Shagufta Yawer from Jamaat e Islami Punjab, and Kulwant Singh from Jamhoori Kisan Sabha, Gurnam Singh Daud from Dihati Mazdoor Sabha also addressed the rally.

    Speakers unanimously said that using the trident of CAA, NRC and NPR the Modi government is committing the vicious act of communal division in the country. Its target is not only the Muslim minority but also all working people, Dalits, backward classes, oppressed nationalities, people, people’s intellectuals, secular and scientific thinkers, and all allied groups fighting for their rights. They alleged that the RSS- BJP's regime has changed the meaning of patriotism. 

    Anyone who criticizes Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s anti India policies, raises the slogans of ‘Azadi’(independence) and does not chant Jai Shri Ram has been thrown into prisons for being anti-national or lynched by radical Hindutva mobs. They alleged that the BJP was treacherously misleading the people of the country by allowing the big corporations to loot freely the water, forest, land and other rich natural resources in the name of patriotism.

    They said that the real patriots of the country are those working people of all religions including Muslims who are contributing to the production in the country, those who are fighting to protect the secular foundations of the country, opposing privatisatio, liberalization, gloabalisation, as well as those who are guarding the resources of our country from the blatant loot by Adani-Ambani and other corporate families. They emphasized that the danger to the people of the country was not from the Muslims but from the Modi government and its policies determined to sell the country.

    They said that the Modi government wants to make the country a Hindu nation but that does not mean the development of people belonging to Hindu religion, but rather establishing a backward state where the basic democratic and legal rights of the people can be fully crushed. They said that whenever the rulers of the country flared up communal riots in the country, the women and the working poor had to bear the worst blunt.They said that the way women-youth- students , intellectuals, farmers, and labourers have participated in the protests ,regardless of their caste and religion, is exemplary and has defeated for once the BJP government’s  malicious plans of inciting anti-muslim riots by flaring up the Hindutva fanatism. They stressed that the people of the country will never allow Modi's communal steps to succeed and the people of Punjab have decided to fight till end in this struggle.

    It was demanded that the CAA  be repealed, NRC NPR be taken back and cases against the protesting people be withdrawn and arrested intellectuals and people be released,  and that strict action should be taken against officers involved in brutal action in JNU, Jamia University and various other cities in the country. The masked goons who entered JNU should be arrested, strict action should be taken on Yogi Adityanath who incited people by chanting the “Goli Maaro” slogan, also action should be taken against top BJP leader Anurag Thakur and those Sanghi goons who fired at Jamia and Shaheen Bagh protesters, strict action e taken against those police personnel who kicked protesting women’s private parts and also those goons be indicted who physically abused Gargi College students, the detention camps across the country should be closed and the people there should be released. The NSA in Delhi as well as all other black laws should be repealed. In the rally a resolution was passed protesting the brutal onslaught on Kashmiri people and their forced arrests and draconian restrictions imposed on them and it was demanded that Section 370 and 35-A be repealed. Also a condolence motion was passed holding the local administration responsible for the death of four innocent children killed in yesterdays bus fire incident at Longowal.
